What is a staywired community?
A staywired community is a place on the internet that is your own private network for personal or business purposes. All information that you share with other people within a staywired community is exclusively yours and cannot be seen by outsiders.
How many people can join a staywired community?
As many or as few as you want.
What is the role of the site administrator?
The site administrator is responsible for building the site by choosing the appropriate modules, adding the approved users and inputting the appropriate information. The administrator(s) maintain the site on an on-going basis.
How do I add or delete a user?
Only the site administrator(s) is permitted to add or delete users of a staywired community. To do so, simply add or delete the user in the 'Users' section of the Control Panel.
What is a module?
A module is a building block for your staywired community. Staywired is composed of 14 unique modules which can be re-used and re-named countless times to suit your community's needs (except for the Conrol Panel). Use as many or as few modules as necessary in building your staywired community. All modules are multi-lingual capable and incredibly flexible, allowing limitless opportunities to create your community's very own place on the web. How many modules am I allowed to use?
As many or as few as you would like.
How do I re-use a module?
In the control panel, simply create a new module by clicking "add". Then provide a unique name for your new module to differentiate it from the others.
How can a module be multi-lingual capable?
Each module has a standard option that allows the site administrator to name it in English, French or Spanish.
Is there a link to my regular e-mail account?
There is currently no link to regular e-mail. Each staywired community is given its own internal e-mail system to easily and efficiently communicate between users.
Will I be able to get help using staywired?
Yes! Once you are inside your staywired community, you will find special 'tips' at the bottom of every page to help you use that specific page. If you need additional help, you will also find a 'help' button at the bottom of every page, dedicated to helping you use the modules within your staywired community.
