Staywired is composed of 14 unique modules which can be re-used and re-named countless times to suit your community's needs. All modules are multi-lingual capable and incredibly flexible, allowing limitless opportunities to create your community's very own place on the web.

Pictures & News
Suggested uses: Welcome users with message and pictures, show and explain what's new in the community, news of the day.
Suggested names: Home page, Welcome, Daily News, What's New, Message from the Director.
Notes: This module is required to be used at least once as the home page, but can be re-used under different names for different purposes. Used to show 2 photos plus message. 3 different layout options. Modifications by site administrator only. top


Calendar
Suggested uses: Use for various events - conferences, meetings, birthdays, tournaments, parties.
Suggested names: Calendar of Events, What's happening, Regional Dates.
Notes: This module can be re-used for different types or places of events (eg. west coast calendar, east coast calendar). Modifications by site administrator only. top


E-mail
Suggested uses: Use for private and secure messaging among community members.
Suggested name: E-mail, Messages, Send & Receive.
Notes: Proprietary system - between members only. Automatically shows when e-mail is waiting for you and when it has been opened by recipient. top


News Groups
Suggested uses: Enables users to ask questions or post topics of conversation which anyone within the community can respond to at their leisure.
Suggested names: Discussion Forum, Group Talk.
Notes: Users add new subjects and responses. top


Chat
Suggested uses: A common area to meet and instantly discuss anything by typing, chat with several people at once.
Suggested names: On-line Chat, Discussion Room, Let's Talk.
Notes: Users are automatically entered into chat room upon clicking link. Time stamp option available. Change font or color to identify yourself. top


File Sharing
Suggested uses: Collaborate on composing and editing documents for group projects, spreadsheets, on-line manuals, joint letters.
Suggested name: File Sharing, Document Sharing, Group Work.
Notes: Post documents for one user at a time to access freely or use selective password-protection. Ability to reserve documents. top


Surveys/Data
Suggested uses: Gather data for sales reports, send surveys for product, customer, or employee satisfaction, preferences, quality.
Suggested names: Surveys, Data Collection, Sales Reports, Statistics, Info Gather.
Notes: Surveys and data can be modified, duplicated and added to at any time. Data is automatically compiled for quick analysis and may be re-compiled at any time according to administrative preferences. Track who has and hasn't responded. Modifications by site administrator only. top


FAQs
Suggested uses: Post frequently asked questions with respective answers in order to efficiently address questions users may have.
Suggested names: Frequently Asked Questions, Questions & Answers, Q&A, Your Questions.
Notes: Organized into subject. Avoid repeatedly answering the same questions, offer users comfort and efficiency by having issues addressed and accessible to them. This module can be re-used to address different categories of questions or different user groups within your community. Modifications by site administrator only. top


On Display
Suggested uses: Display items or show users how to display items. Post signs, posters, cards or coupons for users to print locally. Use as an online photo album.
Suggested names: Show Me, How to's, Specifications, Displays, Signs, Photo Album.

On Sale
Suggested uses: Allow users to buy, sell or trade items from other users. Personal items, inventory, new merchandise.
Suggested names: Garage Sale, Liquidation Centre, Great Deals, Inventory Clearance, Items For Sale, Trade, Co-op.
Notes: Itemized by vendor, price, unit numbers, with accompanying photos. Organized by category to track all items or personal items only. E-mail vendor directly. Users add items, photos and details. top


Affiliates
Suggested uses: Post information and links to affiliates - suppliers, retailers, customers, related organizations, sponsors, other communities.
Suggested names: Associates, Contacts , Outside Links.
Notes: Post logos, link to other websites, contact people directly. Modifications by site administrator only. top


Mailings
Suggested uses: Replace mass mailings with one click - newsletters, on-line manuals, maps, directories, invitations, coupons, promotions, posters.
Suggested names: Notices, Manuals, Group Mailings.
Notes: Selectable by category. Print locally, save regular mailing costs, increase efficiency and awareness. Modifications by site administrator only. top


Links
Suggested uses: Ability to immediately access commonly-viewed websites without leaving your staywired community.
Suggested names: Websites, Linkname (eg. Yahoo).
Notes: Re-use this template for many different websites. Modifications by site administrator only. top


Control Panel
Suggested uses: 1) Administrative control panel: Used by administrator to modify names, order, language of modules to better suit community needs. Also used to modify administration profile, modify or add users, user groups and user status information. 2) User control panel: Used to modify personal information only.
Suggested names: none (unchangeable).
Notes: This is the only module that can not be re-used. It is designed to organize community information, such as names and vital statistics. top
